I strongly agree with this quote & i think it's a good one. What we do day in and day out does determine what our brain looks like and how our body functions. Constant stress and low hours of sleep can slowly but surely have an impact on your brain. Your body needs rest physically and mentally in order to operate correctly on a daily basis. The brain needs time to regenerate itself so it can store information and get ready for what is has to partake from the next day.

Our brain works with our ways of thinking for example so students don't study for a test and they past it but if i take a test I would have to study non stop. Our brain needs regular sleep so we can eat a protain breakfast in the morning. Our brain effects our way of thinking And our memories example I forgot about doing this blog post bc my brain didn't have enough sleep. Stressed brain don't learn the same way like me I get stressed a lot so this topic is related to me. The brain is not designed for long term stress you don't have any control of your brain everytime when this happens to me I just wanna escape out of it. The brain damage can result you not having enough sleep , damages memory , you can get depressed.

I can definitely relate, sometimes I forgot to do certain things because of the way my brain is impacted by the things I shouldn't do, like not getting enough sleep. If we want to have a good brain we have to protect it. Like you said, our brain is where we are keeping track of what we are doing, so if we want to have a good memory, in terms of remembering things, we need to take care of it.

I agree that you must get enough sleep at night to function the next morning at school or at work when you dont get enough sleep at night you wake up sluggish and your thought process is alot slower but when you do get enough or 8 hours or more sleep you wake up energized and you are able to do things and think alot quicker thats why they tell you always eat a decent breakfast in the morning before a test so that it feeds your brain and also that you get your 8 hours of sleep so your brain is ready for the next day and it also helps you memorize things easier when your brain is well rested

I agree with the quote because not everybody brain works the same way. Some people have a way to process things more quickly and more clearly, while others need some time to understand it and might need more help. Teachers in school need to really understand this because they might be going to fast for some students. Which going fast is not always to they key to success, slowing down and making sure that all of the students understand it. Sleep is a very important factor to your success and way of life because your brain needs to rest a certain amount of hours, so you will be able to function at your finest the next day. If you do not get the proper sleep you might be grumpy or aggravated for that day, in Addition to that you will not be able to focused in anything because you will be to tired.

"For example when we do not get enough sleep at night, the human brain tends to get tired the next day because it did not get enough rest. When we go to sleep, we are resting our brain for the next day. The brain takes in too much information and goes through a lot every day; this is while we rest our mind at night."

I agree with the phrase that some people grasps information the first time given because I am one of those people who remember something right away. It is true that our brain is meant to developed over time. We cannot rush the brain development. I also agree with fact that exposing your brain to something over and over can help your brain remember every details of it. Not all brain works the same. Some people need to see something over and over in order to remember the information about that thing. Every brain has its own way of functioning and gathering information. For some people, it would take time and for others, they do not need time to grasps what is being given.

I agree and disagree with this quote. Everyone's brain is wired differently and develops at different rates. Everybody will not remember and learn things by constantly seeing them. I do agree that if you do things constantly it will help. I do not agree completely because it will help some people less.

I agree with this because if we constantly do something then we will end up getting the hang of it and people do work different from others some learn faster or slower and that brings us back to how the brain is wired differently because everyone's brain doesn't work nor is the same.

I agree with this because no brain is the same.if every Brain was the same we would all think alike and learn the same way. We all have different ways of thinking and processing things. Our brains control are whole body so we would all act the same.

I agree that new ways of teaching will have to be created due to the advances in technology. Technology will allow students to learn things easier as time goes on and new methods will be created replacing older methods.I also agree that new ways to reduce the percentage of errors should be made. The less errors are made the better things turn out and it also lets things be completed faster as well.

I agree with the statement, “ Regions of the brain develop at different rates in different people.” We think that every brain is the same and that every brain can develop at the same rates as other people’s brain. My brain does not develop at the same rate as my classmates because my brain is wired differently. Teachers teach to each student the same way as every other student thinking that all students are going to get the material being taught. For example, I was not very good at chemistry as other students. My brain is wired differently than other students in that class. Some students are going to learn much faster than me and other students. People’s brain are made for drawing, math, music. history, cooking, and many other things that are not the same things as other people. Before reading this article, i already knew that everyone is not the same and the reason behind it was that the brain develops at different rates. The school system expects everyone to learn at the same rate but it is not possible. The school system should change in the way that everyone will have a chance at learning the material and understanding before taking a test. Many people fail test for the reason being people’s brain developed different so some did not have enough time to understand the material being taught. I strongly agree with article also because it it says that our school system ignores the fact that every brain develops at different rates and that every brain is wired differently.

I agree with this statement that not all brains are the same yes everyone has a brain but they all develop at different times and rates. Just because of someone's age doesn't mean that there brain is fully developed. It has been studies that show that the brain is fully developed at 25 but I disagree because the brain continues to grow. With studies showing that the brain grows at different rates. Proves that society is set up wrong because with knowing the brain develops at different rates but is still set like we are all the same showing that it's not being took in to consideration.

i agree all brains work are not built the same everybody thinks at a different rate and society has a set way that it thinks everybody should think but thats not right because everybody is different and i dont think there should be testing in schools because of that because some people can work hard all year and give it there all but when their test comes their brain shuts down and its hard for them to think under pressure of if you fail this test you fail this class

I agree with Monet Sawyer statement. As she was saying just because of someone age does not exactly mean your brain is developed all the way, to me that is just a study but that can be proven wrong because everyone brain is not going to be fully developed at the age 25. Your brain can be fully developed before or after the age 25, i just feel as if it just depends.

I agree where you say that teachers teach one way and expect students to understand. I have been in a class where the teachers explanation is not understood and usually a student that did understand explains in a different way and their classmates begin to understand. Teachers should be prepared to have multiple explanations for other students because not everyone comprehends the same way.

I agree that teachers teach every student the same way and expect them to understand. Not every student will be able to understand what is being taught because everyone thinks different. I have been in several classes where the teacher will explain but most students will not understand so a student that did understand the teachers explanation explains in a different way that helps our classmates understand. Teachers should be aware that not everyone will understand their way of explaining so they must be prepared with other ways to explain.

"Teachers should be aware that not everyone will not understand their way of explaining so they must be prepared with other ways to explain" This statement is opinionated. Teachers have 3 classes with about 25 students minimum with just one of them, not all students can get additional help from the teacher at one time. Students must be aware of that. The brain does work differently, I agree but there are other resources out here to additional help, so this statement can be a little Bias. The school system also provides extra curricular classes for those in need!

Our Brain works different ways like others school controls most of our brain with some exams, homework, some school work it is all in our head. Our brain will have one of those moments when it shuts down and doesn't know what its doing. I strongly agree with your statement, teachers sometimes ignore the fact that everybody's brain is set up differently. When students are sitting in a classroom, they might have all types of things going on in their mind and their brain is working at the same time to get the informations they are being taught in class. And sometimes, it's not even about the things that are going through their mind, it might be because of the fact that they need a specific environment to concentrate or they have different learning strategies; it could be anything. And the school system should really consider a change that will benefit every single students.

I agree with this statement that our brain is apart from our body without it how would we think , speak , do movements. Focusing is one of the most things that is really hard for me i can remember song lyrics than some school work. Any problems that you need to fix any issues in my head it is really hard to remember what i need to do. Memories the key of success without your memory how will you remember all of steps you need to be successful in life. Stressed Brain there is no way to escape from it only if you start relaxing your brain by having a nap. Naps are the key of why we forget things.

"sleep better think better" is a statement that is so true because studies had proven that 67 percent of people who has a goods nights sleep thinks through verse someone who has not gotten much sleep. preforms better .With the way the brain is set up it critical that the brain gets its rest which is when you are asleep the brain needs time to take in everything that has happened in days span of time. Studies has shown that the you can stay up for 11 days 264 days but after 2 days of sleep recovery will still suffer from sleep deficiency. Those in the study after a few days lost who they were no motivation no thoughts behind their actions.Getting nine hours of sleep is recommended for a person to function at their best abilities. Sleep is very important to the brain so to have a start at a good day you should got to be a bed a few hours earlier to make sure you get all nine hours to have a start in a full functioning YOU.

I Strongly agree with you about sleeping is very important. Were my self function worse when i don't get enough sleep. When i wake up my brain say its school an then i take a long time processing to really wake up an get out of my bed an do what i have to do just because i still wanna rest. Other then if i had some good sleep i would jus jump right up do what i gotta do rappedly an already woke up motivated, energize an ready to learn today.

I strongly agree with the first statement & quote. Sleeping is a way for your brain to process information because it takes time, also some brains take longer than others. If your brain doesn't have enough time to process information, you can tend to become stressed out or your brain could be mentally drained, so therefore your motor is low. Taking frequent naps will also help as well just like a snack for your body. As he said, sleep is food for your brain to hold you for the next day after you've rested. A nap is a mid day snack for your brain to have its frequent rest.

I strongly agree with the statement from the article that says, “The bottom line is that sleep loss means mind loss”. I believe that sleep does affect how a person will be able to perform throughout the day. Students in high school are the best example. High school have to wake up early, especially the students who have to ride the bus. The total amount of hours a student in high school needs is about 9 but on average most students only receive about 6 to 7 hours. If a student does not receive enough sleep this will affect their performance in class. The student will most likely try to sleep during class and if the student is sleeping then the student is not learning what is being taught, which ends up hurting the students grade. A student's learning will be affected because they will not be able to focus and be engaged to class properly. A student’s memory will also be affected because the brain will not save the information properly which will cause problems trying to remember in the future. I have had days myself where I get little sleep, on those days I usually have trouble understanding a lesson being taught compared to a day in which I received enough sleep. Students should plan their day carefully in order for them to go home and sleep a good amount of time.

I agree with Kevin's statement about how sleep is important for us because without sleep our body loses energy during the day. Sleep is one one of the most important sources we need for our body to function well during the day. The human brain gets tired when they have little to no rest at night. This causes the body to lose connection with the brain which gives information throughout the day.

I also agree with this quote. If someone does not get enough sleep, they will start to get more distracted. They will be more distracted and not focused because your mind has loss its full functionality. I throughout high school have lost a lot of sleep. My mind is not the same as it was 5 years ago.

I agree with the statement "We are not the strongest on the planet but we developed the strongest brains, the key to our survival" because we have many pros dealing with the brain than any other such as self awareness. Self awareness distinguishes humans from most other species. We are more aware of our surrounding and tend to "catch on" to things faster. We may not win a fighting match with any other specie but we will understand how to escape one. The article stated its our "Chief survival tool" whom is very accurate. Another Pro would be Malleability. We learn how to adapt to our surroundings faster or better than other species. our brain is suited for any environment and we become immune to it. Also, a sense of morality. Human kind can determine whats right or wrong while other species are pretty much dumbfounded until given direction or training, Therefore Human Kind has the strongest brains and a chief survival tool that may last us a lifetime.

After reading the article I strongly agree that a good amount of sleep is good for the brain because by us sleeping we are allowing our brain to rest after a long day of thinking. The more we do the more we work our brain and if we don't take care of our brain by getting the right amount of sleep it could get in the way of the things that is really important like going to school going to work and other life events if you fall asleep in class then your not learning a thing and learning new things also helps our brain grow and keeps it healthy

The overall idea of this article was things we know about how the brain works. Two keys things were that: your brain is a survival organ and vision trumps all other senses. The brain is a survival organ because, "It is designed to solve problems related to surviving in an unstable outdoor environment and to do so in nearly constant motion" (12 things we know about how the brain works). This quote is just stating that the brain is designed to solve problems and survive unstable environments. In summary, the brain is designed to be a survival organ. Vision trumps all other senses because, "Pictures beat text as well, in part because reading is so inefficient for us" (12 things we know about how the brain works). This quote is just stating that pictures are easier to remember than words. Overall, visual things like pictures are easier to remember on our brain than text.

i agree to this quote because it is explaining to us how the human brain works, developed over time, and came to be today. When you do not get enough sleep your brain is then tired and you wont be able to stay awake the next day. I know they say that the brain needs food to operate but too much food is not good. The author says " our brain is meant to be trained & developed to where our knowledge will determine our success". The author means that if you work hard, you can achieve anything.
